Kristy Brassell graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS in Accounting. She began her accounting career with a small firm in Chattanooga, concentrating mostly in accounting for small businesses and compilations. She relocated to Nashville in 2001 and spent the next ten years as a controller in private industry. She obtained her Certified Public Accounting license in 2011 and has since concentrated on tax planning and preparation for both individuals and businesses. She has served on various non-profit boards over the years, most recently acting as the treasurer for Indian Lake Elementary PTO. She and her husband, Marc, live in Hendersonville with their two daughters.
